Recommended Reading
There are a lot of great books, articles, forum posts, and blogs out there that anyone who is interested in crafting their skills at being a GM and/or player should read. Unfortunately a lot of them are not on most people's radar. I thus offer up the following "must read" list for anyone interested in becoming a better GM or player.
- Play Unsafe by Graham Walmsley - practical advice on how to apply improv techniques to RPG gaming. It's a good, fast read that you can get through in less than a couple hours.
- Robin's Laws of Good Gamemastering by Robin Laws - I'm not sure where to begin with this one. Buy it and read it, twice. It's really that good.
- See Page XX: Vol 1 by Robin Laws - Another great read, with lots of good advice, particularly for GMs.
- Creating the Scenario with the character sheet in front of me by Judd Harris - post on The Forge.
- You Kick, We Bang by various posters - shows how to use Kickers to create Bangs for your game.

- I'd like to add that the Sorcerer and Sorcerer and Sword books by Ron Edwards are chock full of gaming wisdom, even if you aren't playing Sorcerer.
